Preliminary Drawings for Series 2

Here is yet another completed piece from my first bird series.  I am most pleased with how the eye turned out.

It was completed on 11/8/2018.

Parrot done in Oil

As promised from yesterday: the oils rendition of the parrot done in sharpie.  It's one of the more detailed pieces I've done.  I'm especially pleased with how the beak and shadow beneath the yellow feathers turned out.

Cardinal Done in Oil

Here is my Cardinal image done in sharpie converted into an oils painting (finished on the 25th).  I'm rather pleased with how vibrant the colors turned out. 

The oil painting of the parrot shouldn't be far behind, all it needs at this point is a signature once the paint dries a bit more.
