Here is the fruition of my pen-and-wash studies: A portrait of the Pharaoh Cheops (Job from the Bible) standing before the Great Pyramid he constructed at Giza.
Here is a simple hatching piece that depicts a lone harvester in a mountain-backed wheat field. This was made in 9/6/2010 as a project for level 6 of the New Masters art program.
This particular pencil drawing of Morgan Freeman is a strange anomaly in my art work. I made it several years ago when my art skills weren't quite ready to make a picture like this.
This 11' x 15' painting was an experiment of overlapping washes with negative spaces left for the main forms. This was another painting made during my spring semester.
This is my first attempt at a self-portrait. I used a recently-taken photo instead of a mirror while making this. The painting's dimensions is 11' x 15'.
