Double Feature
Here is a value sketch for a painting I did a few weeks ago, and a cat cartoon meant to depict gratitude.

First of the marker series
The marker series is basically a loose style of portraiture that I'm using to portray a person with as little detail as possible. This first one is of Christopher Walken.

Elija Redux
Here is an 11" x 15" watercolor version of March 27th's "Elijah and the Offering." This has no ink work in it in any way. It didn't follow the original value pattern as closely as I would have liked.

David's Trophy
Here is a quill-tip piece that depicts one of the more iconic scenes from the bible. David has just decapitated Goliath and is showing off the head to the troops "Conan-the-barbarian style."
This picture doesn't have much in the way of a value scheme, so that will have to be addressed in the future.

House Row
Here is a remake of a piece I did a year ago. I can't post the original since it won't fit in the scanner but suffice it to say, this one is much prettier. I have also posted the value pattern for it.
The issues I have with this one is the uniform power poles and the rough front of the middle house.

Nehemiah's wall
Here are a couple of hatching pieces I did today concerning Nehemiah's wall. The bottom picture was the prototype. I figured that ancient Jews didn't have access to massive two by fours while building the wall, so I made the second sketch. The only issues I have with that one is that one of the supports is bending unsafely, and that it's only taking two people to hoist a multi-ton brick.
